The Big12 and SEC can only have one udefeated team because of the championship games.  I think only the Big10(11) could possibly have two undefeated teams since they don't play every one in their conference.

Yeah, USC is garbage.  They don't live in a power house conference like the Big East

I never claimed the Big East to be a power conference, but apparently, neither is the Pac 10.  Actual, 25% of the big east are in the top 7

agreed.  if not for notre dame every year (and they have only been good the last few years and maybe once when williamham was there since the early 90s) they would indeed play nobody good outside of conference.  and even then only Cal, the last few years Oregon, and in the past UCLA is even that good in the pac-10.  USF scheduled miami and PSU last year.  that's tougher than USC's OOC schedule last year.
