thats great.... But look at the players ahead of him. Do any of them play for good teams? We need to get other guys involved. I am excited Ponton will be back.

A freshman, or a sophomore for that matter, won't win the heisman.  There are voters that refuse to put them on their ballet at all (see Rex Grossman).

A player from USF would not be seriously considered for the Heisman until the team was a national title contender year and year out.

I would have said the same thing until the RB (Wolfe?) from Northern Illinois started to make all kind of noise this year.  He's REALLY good.
