He is carrying this team on his back.

Why does he have to do everything?

Do we need to put in the defense squad as well?

If he keeps this pace up, he will be a legitimate Heisman canidate when he is a senior.

Steve,

I am glad you agree that USF is lucky to have Grothe. And to think that most thought CHill was the future at QB.  It takes an injury to Julmiste to help Leavitt see the light. Even thought we loss this game, I feel better about our future because we have a good QB.

Grothe will take us to the top 25 and beyond...

Without Grothe, we are probably 1-4 right now

the kid played his heart out tonight....he can run and throw. We are in good shape at QB. With PJ at QB we get shutout tonight.

definitely.

we are fortunate to have him here. im excited to watch him grow and develop even more as our qb. we were painfully stale with julmiste, but with grothe it's like anything can happen.

is his jersey for sale?

Send gurlybull a PM ... 4get the place that was taking pre-orders ... they should be in later next month. I'm too lazy to check my credit card receipts online and sure someone else here will let you know also.

False ... GrothE was coming in the 2nd Half. It would have made no diference. I don't understand why Denson got the start last year and don't understand why C.Hill was handed the job ... but saying Leavitt didn't/wasn't gonna start GrothE after the MSU game is a joke. PJ's injury had nothing to do with it.

I think it's safe to say that the #8 Nike replica will be on shelves when the next orders are ready to be produced.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
