What the heck was Southern Miss thinking throwing on 3 straight downs with 5 minutes left and ahead by 5 points? Bad play calling, especially when 2 passes are incomplete.

Their D just stepped up big though.

So. Miss. did ... close entertaining game.

I was glad, having UCF at 1-3 (0-1) is good ... granted I believe we are ahead of them (especially after beating them twice and losing zero) ... we still need to help distance ourselves ...

UCF having a bad record helps.

UCF beat themselves in that game.  USM had one big offensive play and a good defensive play(that should never have happened).

UCF had a fumble in the enzone, a really badly missed pass interference call that would have probably led to a TD instead of that missed field goal and Moffett is looking to be benched.
