Actualy D did a pretty good job today although the stats don't bear it out........ Just the octogenarian had the freaking game of his life.

I didnt watch the entire game but how did the D do well and give up 26 points to an 0-2 team?

Bucs D started off slow along with the offense and spotted Carolina a 17-0 lead.  Bucs D got very stingy in the second half and got 3 turnovers.  Bucs O took advantage of the short field and scored.  Gruden mad a incredibly dumb cal on a third down with 1 minute left in the fourth.  Instead of a running play he called a fly to Galloway.  Did not work so Carolina did not have to waste their last timeout.  Carolina got a 4 and 7 on a qb draw that would not have been there if they had no timeouts left.  All in all it was nice to finally be in a game but a heartbreaking loss.  Now I would say the season is over since Simms is now out for a while and we are 0-3.

Don't think the fins are gonna get off here.  They beat one of the worst teams in the NFL by 3 points to go 1-2.  83 said they would be 12-4 correct?  Dr. Z from SI said they would win the superbowl.  In my opinion both of these statements are dumb and I predict they wont even make the playoffs!

all I heard all offseason from all the Bucs fans is how the Bucs were better than the Fins and going to make a run at the super bowl. Do I think the Fins will make the playoffs yes. More like 10-6 than 12-4. The Bucs however will be more like 4-12. That team is horrible. Losing Chris Sims is not that big of a loss because he SUCKS.

Turnovers and timely stops on 3rd down ......... except when it really really was needed.
