that is the rumor around athens right now.

why would he leave GA?

money? not GA can spend UM into the ground

confernce? not, sec best conference

chance for NC? maybe

didnt he just sign a huge extension with UGA?

either way, i dont see him leaving georgia.  that was his dream job when he left FSU.

No.  Butch Davis' name is being thrown around, but it's hard to see Richt making the move.

LSU took a share of the national title pretty recently, so why can't georgia?  Answer: they can.  And they're a lot closer at this point than the canes.

No way! Richt has a $10M buyout in his contract. Miami can barely afford to bring in teams for cash games at home, if they struggle to spend 600k, they'll struggle with $10M

If they were smart they'd give Davis a long look. He brough Miami out of the doom and gloom of probation.

I think Schaino will be strongly considered, though.

Rumor has it he's got a release clause in contract in the event that Miami comes calling.

I think they take Schiano in the end. What he's done at Rutgers (making a Bowl game) is something few have done.
