Agreed.  Let's not get carried away after facing the illustrious offenses of McNeese State and Florida International.  I mean, "Florida International" just sounds like one of those fake colleges you see advertised on TV all the time (e.g. DeVry, University of Phoenix, etc.).

Then again West Virginia is #25 in total defense and they played powerhouses Marshall and Eastern Washington...and how about Louisville ranked #21 after their victories over juggernauts Kentucky and Temple?

Two thoughts on that:

1) In both cases, those teams still played tougher teams than us thus far, and

2) WV and Louisville both have won a couple of blowouts, so opposing offenses were just throwing and throwing. Of course their going to give up some yardage playing backups and leading a billion to nothing.

Let's see how we stand after two or three more games. Right now, none of these numbers mean anything.
