if we keep winning.

I say at 3-0, we start receiving votes.

4-0, we get lots of votes after beating another BCS school.

5-0, possibly crack top 25

6-0, definitely crack top 25, maybe top 20.

Next season.

Let's not kid ourselves in thinking that we will not have our hands very full with Kansas and Rutgers. UCF is another game where we had better get rid of the mistakes we made the other night.

I'm not saying it will happen.  This is only IIIIFFFF we keep winning.  I know we have a lot of work to do, but I think we'll get there.

Guest BasketBull.

We've had a top 25 defense many times --including this year.

To have a top 25 offense, we've needed a good QB. MB got us out of I-AA and into I-A painlessly. Now, perhaps Matthew can get us to the top 25 in his time at the helm.

I tell you, BCS is big, but once we crack the top 25, the media is going to be all over us for the feel-good story. And that's when recruiting will move up another notch.

This year? We need a running back to emerge, and special teams to shape up (of course, Matthew has to deliver the goods). I give it 70%

Next year? 85%

Within the next 5 years? 100%

TCU is on the top 25, last I looked. I don't see why we can't.

if we are to go 3-0, there is no way we'd get votes with wins over McNeese, FIU, and UCF.  We could sniff votes until we show our stuff with the Big East foes.

Someone could give us a vote or 2.  Not that many teams start 3-0.  Do any writers in the TB area have a vote for the ap poll.  Plus BE coaches probably look out for their own when voting, don't forget about that.

4-0 after Kansas= votes

5-0 after Rutgers= more votes

6-0 after UConn= top #25

7-0 after UNC= #20-#25

8-0 aftter Cinci= same

9-0 after Pitt= #15-#20

10-0 after SU = same

11-0 after UL= top #15

12-0 after WV= top #10

Note this is only if it happens, I'm not saying that it will.

if we are 6-0, we will start sniffing the votes... until then, no chance.

We won't get into the top 25 unless somehow we get to 8-0
