USF Just Got a Plug om ESPN

I think it's great getting plugs on ESPN.  However, let's take one game at a time.

Don't get trapped by the "Gambler's Fallacy"....Games played in the past between two teams does not affect the result when they play again in the future.

I with with ya on that, 'cause I hope so too!  I would tend to believe it plays a psychological factor, but the overall big picture it has very little relevance.

I believe the 2004 loss was 41-9, with Petrino trying to run it up at the end, that wuss. I so badly wanted USF to get into the 50s last year when they were woodshedding UL.

Yeah that was pretty much a throw away/lame duck last season in C-DOA.  Leavitt red-shirted everyone he could, refs were out for our blood becase we jumped ship, hurricanes were hitting us from all angles, bad season all around... but I still have fond memories as it was my first year with season tickets!  ;D

I just hope we don't make the same mistake as the last time we played at Papa John's stadium. Jumping on the Cardinal at midfield prior to the game starting always seems to piss off UL and usually ends up in an ass whipping for the team who dared to jump on that logo.

I was there in 2004 -- that game was almost as bad for visitors as the Arkansas game in 2002. I don't plan on going up there this season due to the timing, the weather, and what I expect will not be a positive result for our boys.

Yes we got the props but earlier, Lou, I am an old fart, Holtz called us Southern Florida. I guess any props is better than no props!

Louisville gets a lot of quality players from our area. Every time we beat them it helps our recruiting. 8-)
