Cut short because of impending lightning. There was a really good crowd there, I'd guesstimate about 800-1000 Bulls fans. Then again, I'm not very good at estimating crowd size.

I thought it went really well!!!  Mutt and Coach made a new banner to hang in front of Coach's house and at the games, with the new logo for the season..."Making our Mark".  We had players sign in black, coaches in red, and parents in blue.  The parents really got a kick out of being involved.

How was the scrimmage?

Well..like I said the banner was all Coach and Mutt so I can't take any of the credit.  they made one last year and had just the players and coaches sign, which was great.  BUT this year they decided to include the parents and it was cool how even the kids were calling their parents over to sign.

As far as the football part of it, the fans didn't get to see much, no full scrimmage. They ran some plays and did drills. The gates didn't open until exactly 11:00 and then the team pretty much cut it short after that. Rain was coming so maybe that had something to do with it.

However, as an event, it was 3 or 4 times the size of last year -very big crowd this year. It's nice to see our fan base growing.

They ran the 2 minute drill twice, gained maybe 25-30 yards between the two drives...didnt really do anything.

I think that 800-1000 estimate is heavily overblown. Good crowd, but i dont think it was much bigger than years past.
