The marketing push for Brian Leonard as a Heisman Trophy candidate has reached the Big Apple. With billboards on the New Jersey Turnpike and his own Heisman Web site, there is also a now a video playing on a large screen in Times Square, reading "Leonard for Heisman."

Why even bother.  He's a decent running back and nothing more.

He most likely won't finish in the Top 10.  Heisman contenders usually don't lose more than 2-3 games.  Michael Bush will get more votes than him.

I was more impressed with the other RB they had, Ray Rice.  Don't know if he's even the best RB on his team, let alone a "Heisman candidate".

I don't care if they plaster this guys face on the moon, he aint gonna win the heisman.  Don't think it will help recruiting that much either, everyone knows it's a farce and he aint gonna win.  Is anyone even paying attention to the rutgers "heisman" candidate.  Are any of the national media outlets talking about him.  no.
