3) Coach Mac realizes you can't win with defense alone (from recruiting article), which is nice to know. I was worried that he was trying to recruit guys who can defend only: we need shooters!

Look at the first 2 recruits from mac... Holmes and Mosley... its pretty obvious that he recruits shooters rather than just defenders.  He'll take smaller players if they can shoot well and defend well (Mosley).

I love his philosophy and i personally think its gonna pay dividends sooner than later.

Lets look at ur record against our future BE opponents.  An outstanding 18-64.  We have never played ND, Seton Hall or Villanova. On the up side we have never lost to St. Johns and you are not going to believe this one "Pitt".  Don't bet on much more support until the program sees some post season action and better then a one and done.  With the quality of the teams coming to the dome I would expect average attendance to move to the 4,000 to 5,000 range.  Throw in a couple of NCAA appearances and we should move to the 6,500 to 7,500.

Darn, and I was hoping there wouldn't be another hoops attendance thread at least until the start of next season...

WVU is beatable in Tampa.  They will be Bull fodder in the SunDome.

Seth & McCullum are battling it out for a 2005 Basketball recruit. Both schools have already offered. He just canceled a visit to the Hokies. This could get interesting:

They are complaining about their BB recruiting on their message board.  ;D
