the marlins are definately playing good ball, they wont make it though.  Their hot streak will end soon.

I got a better question, can they beat kazmir tonight?

8 in a row for the Marlins.  3 games out of the playoffs with 40 wins from their rookies.  Not looking bad for the future....oh wait, they wont be able to afford those guys and they will be on other teams  within 2 years.  

But impressive run while it lasts.  I hope they make it.

I tell you what, the change in the Marlins has been huge since when I saw them play Tampa.  When we played in June they were horrible and I watched the game last night and they looked very impressive.  I hope they make the playoffs b/c a team with that low of a payroll gives me and my Rays some hope, maybe false, but hope.

BTW I am really glad I picked up Josh Johnson in my fantasy league b/c he is special.  Personally I would rather have him then Verlander.  I think his stuff is better

Johnson is the best pitcher on our staff. Ive said this all year. He will be a hell of a pitcher
