No, we win 6-7 games with PJ as our QB this year.  We win 5 of 6 home games (probably lose to Pitt, again) and 1 or 2 road games (UCF and Kansas?).

Why they won't: 1. Nobody comes close to matching production of tailback Andre Hall.  

2. Major losses on defensive line could affect linebackers' ability to make plays.  

3. Play Big East's best on the road, not to mention Kansas and North Carolina.

THIS SCARES ME

This scares the Big East:

1. Chance of having better pure passer (Matt Grothe) at quarterback.

2. Possess arguably top linebacking corps in Big East, intact for second straight season.  

3. One or two new faces -- perhaps tailback Ricky Ponton or receiver Amp Hill -- deliver big-play capability.

ponton will not be as good as hall

our great linebacking core didnt look so great at uconn

the big east teams arent scared of usf next year

pj is usf's starter right now(and that doesnt scare big east)

grothe didnt even  beat out hill
