Prado, Shouppe Possible Candidates for USF Job

I dont like prado's record at ul.  The best thing though of taking prado would be us stealing a coach away from ul.  That would burn their Ar$es.

If he had that kind of record after winning 2 national champs at ut, I wonder if urso would have the same results in d-1.  Must be something to do with d-2 and tampa being so good.

The UT team Joe has put together this year could compete at the D1 level right now. I have seen them play and they are sick.

jg there is a major difference between DII and DI baseball. Ya his teams are good, but if he came to USF and couldn't handle it could you imagine how hard we'd be on him?

I think it's a better route to take someone who has been at the DI level. Has an understanding of the DI rules (they are very different) and knows the ends and outs of top level college baseball. Jamey Shouppe would be great.

He can handle it. DI team on DII budget. If they bring in a FSU guy they can kiss my ass.

Yes jg but the ins and outs of recruiting, scholarship distribution, and overall game is different.

Urso is a great coach and I wouldn't object to having him at all. But I feel the best candidate is Shouppe. He has been at the D-I for a few years at a top school like FSU.

Shouppe has been in the D-I level at FSU for 16 years...and served as recruiting coordinator for most of it.

bring in the guy from fsu, he is their recruiting person, and they have been bringing in top 10 classes
