Watson, forwards Kenny Adeleke and Christian Maraker and center Solomon Jones at the team's Target Center practice facility. Rondo is an early entry candidate for the NBA Draft, declaring after his sophomore season at the University of Kentucky. The 6-1 guard averaged 11.2 points (.482 FG%), 6.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.00 steals and 31.0 minutes per game in 34 contests for the Wildcats last season. He scored in double-digits 17 times, including a season-high 25 points vs. Louisville on Dec. 17. He grabbed 10+ rebounds five times, including a season-high 19 boards vs. Iowa on Nov. 21. Watson enters the draft after a four-year career at the University of Tennessee. He averaged 9.3 points (.439 FG%), 4.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 35.7 minutes per game in 27 contests for the Volunteers last season. The 6-2 guard scored in double-figures in 12 contests, including a season-high 17 points at Ole Miss on Jan. 11. He posted seven-or-more assists on 10 occasions in 2005-06, including a season-high nine assists vs. Georgia on Feb. 8. Adeleke (right) averaged 20.7 points (.592 FG%), 13.1 rebounds, 1.00 steals, 1.70 blocks and 35.0 minutes per game in 28 contests at the University of Hartford in 2005-06. The 6-9 forward scored in double-digits in 26 contests, including 20+ points on 21 occasions. He posted a season-high 31 points at Longwood on Jan. 28. Adeleke grabbed double-digits in rebounds 25 times, including a season-high 18 rebounds on three occasions. Maraker (left) enters the draft after a four-year career at the University of the Pacific. The 6-9 forward averaged 17.6 points (.501 FG%), 8.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 33.4 minutes per game in 33 contests during the 2005-06 campaign. He registered double-digits in scoring on 29 occasions, including a season-high 34 points at Western Kentucky on Dec. 10. He recorded double figures in rebounds on 17 occasions, including a season-high 16 vs. Santa Barbara on March 2. Jones averaged 13.2 points (.484 FG%), 9.8 rebounds, 3.00 blocks and 36.4 minutes per game in 29 contests at the University of South Florida in 2005-06. The 6-10 center scored in double-digits in 21 contests, including a season-high 23 points vs. Georgetown on March 4. Jones grabbed double-digits in rebounds 17 times, including a season-high 17 rebounds vs. Villanova on Jan. 24. He blocked four-or-more shots on 11 occasions. He and Chucky together ..... Chucky will still be there next year, hopefully. It would only force me to watch one NBA team and that's my limit. He says he wouldn't mind if it was as a Toronto Raptor. Williams, the former No. 2 NBA draft pick out of Duke, is in Toronto working out for the Raptors, and likes what he sees in the young team and new GM Bryan Colangelo. .... The Raptors also worked out Toronto native and University of Connecticut shooting guard Denham Brown on Thursday, along with Kentucky guard Rajon Rondo, Pittsburgh guard Carl Krauser, and Montreal's Mohamed Hachad, a guard out of Northwestern. Scheduled to work out Friday are Richmond forward and Edmonton native Jermaine Bucknor, Duke guard Sean Dockery, South Florida forward Solomon Jones, and Syracuse guard Gerry McNamara.
