Can't imagine a stadium costing more then 50 mil.  

How about a long term fundraising campaign --- with the end result a OCS.  

How about some sort of vision for the thing.

Here's your "vision" as to what this stadium should look like based on our needs:

1) Minimum 40,000 - 50,000 seats

2) Chairback seating (our tickets holders are used to this, so they should be expecting nothing less)

3) Some type of club/priority seating area.

I'm sure there are other things that could be put into an OCS that I have forgotten (scoreboards, concessions, etc.).

If the first 3 things are part of the vision for the OCS, then you can be rest assured that $50 million is not going to be anywhere near the final price tag.

The 40,000 seat stadium for U Conn cost $90 million, paid by the state of Connecticut (it was originally part of a larger plan to bring the Patriots to Hartford, when that fell through the stadium was downsized and other projects were added to the $300+ million bond that was issued)...

So yes, any real stadium will cost much more than $50 million...
