We're closer to big 3.  We've made a bowl, play in a major conference, and in a down year for one of the big 3 schools, we'd have a chance to beat them already.

Miami was pretty down last year... by their standards... :-/

Florida State beat them and they were 8-5

Florida destroyed Florida State...

I think we still have a few years, while some of our starters are pretty good, our Oline/QB/WR weren't very good and lack of depth at many positions showed at times.

Yeah losses to Penn State, Miami, West Virginia, and NC State are pretty embarrasing. Your right we are right behind FIU and FAMU.

Well, if UF and FSU played that same schedule, each would have won at LEAST three of those games, maybe 4.

Miami would have potentially lost to WVU but certainly not a given.

You lost ALL those games.  And neither was as close as the score indicated.

I am not trying to be mean.  Just enlightening.

It should be embarrasing for you to say you're close to the big 3 when you've done nothing to prove so.  The big 3's top players go to the NFL after their Junior year, your best players don't get drafted.

I'm not saying we've had the better team, but i've seen some pretty average squads sneak one away from UF and FSU in recent years....

didn't fsu play penn state in the orange bowl???  i think the outcome was fsu losing to penn state
