? about the spring game

I saw that OU painted the field for the spring game. It makes me think why can't we, its not like the bucs play the day after, and now that we're in the Big East we can afford it ???

Unfortunately there is no way to make a comparison between the two at this point in time.

That is a situation where it is Oklahoma's own home field, which is probably painted up at all times (unless there is some type of change made.)

The only time I see us ponying up the cash to paint the field would be for nationally televised games (a'la TCU a few years ago). If we see the field completely painted up at all this season it'll be for the Rutgers game.

Besides, if we paint it up all nice and pretty for the spring game it'll just give us something else to complain about.  ;D

Yes, let's paint the field and spend $6K for a non-televised scrimmage that less than 5K fans will attend.   :

Not wise spending, IMO.  Just another thing for people to ***** about.

It doesn't matter painting the field.  The only thing that matters is that our offense has improved over the last 5 months.  Paint doesn't help winning football games, especially in April.
