Does anyone think that with Chad Barnhardt (Drop back QB) as our QB coach gives Matt Grothe an edge?

Do not think he is with us anymore ... 4get where he went. He was a Graduate Asst last season.

AND ... GrothE is far from a Drop Back style QB ... he wears #8 and reminds me of the style of Steve Young.

I feal like CHill is deff a better fit for USF.  Just look at Blackwell, or any QB that has had success under CJL.  They can all move and make plays.  Granted CHill has had ball handeling problems, but I think that is something that our coaching staff can deff work with him on.  Give it time CHill will lead us through the season.

BTW its up to 245 now.

That's not a particularly logical argument.  Even Severino isn't exactly slow, but in case you weren't paying attention Grothe appears just as fast and elusive as Hill.

One fumbles, the other throws picks.  Both are young and can learn.  It's hard to prefer one over the other right now.  I like Grothe's play style more, but it's anyones job...Even PJ's...if they earn it.

Don´t really think GrothE has an INT problem ... from what I hear around the campfire, he has been grading out pretty good during Spring Practice.
