I went to Miami to see them play the Bucs back in the 2000 season in the pouring rain and it was great because there were more Buccaneer fans than dolphin fans, especially torwards the end when we won 16-13.  at least i think that was the score.

Hey Fins fans... make the playoffs then talk smack.

Jesus, you sound like the UCFers bragging about playing Nevada in the Toilet Bowl.  "Woo hoo, we're on prime time three times and you're not."

You DO realize how lame it sounds when UCFers do stuff like that, right?

Trip, my dad was and still is a season ticket holder for Bucs football.

Why in the hell are you a Dolphins fan??

I went to many games in the early 90s and there was NO WAY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH there were more and 35,000 (1/2 the stadium) fans there on most occasions. The attendance might say "45,000" but there were games where it felt like we had the section to ourselves. There were the big games and crowds would show.

Hence, the word "average" ....... The Bucs have a hardcore base of 30-40K who have been there through the horrible years.

As for the Fins, yes we are bandwagon, I am not one, but MANY of the fans are. They have never averaged below 56,000 (and that was one year) in modern football. You gotta throw Jax, ATL, Tampa ahead of us we have never had the attendance problems of those teams, even in the down years. Whereas the Bucs in 1996 were averaging:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 1996 -  8 - 333,350 - 41,669

Is this not sinking in?? The Bucs were coming off a dozen years where they were the WORST FRANCHISE IN SPORTS! You don't turn that image around overnight. Again, I pose the question, if the Dolphins were in a 12 year dumper like that, do you actually think they average that 56K ..... or anywhere near it?

As far as throwing Jax and TB ahead of you, show me where either one of those had an NFL Playoff game blacked out and we'll talk.

The team is definition of bandwagon just like the Lightning in 2004 (I am a huge Lightning fan, but there were NO fans at those games before that year)

They averaged around 15K the 4 years previous ..... Even factoring out the comps, that's hardly "NO fans at those games".

Better yet name a Buc fan before 1995...go ahead...There were a few, but they sure didn't show to the games.

Miami might be "bandwagon" but we didn't have 30,000 fans, 10,000 being the other teams fans at any game 2 seasons ago.

That being said I will give teh credit to the Bucs, tehy did beat us and have been one of teh best orgs in teh NFL since 1996...

my family has had season tickets since 1981

We are the better team. Have the Bucs ever averaged more fans per game than the Dolphins? NOPE

Again, you sound like a UCFer.

You're becoming the thing you hate, 83... do not turn to the Dark Side...

You cant compare this to UCF. Comparing the Dolphins to the bucs is okay. They are both good teams that are pretty even. UCF should be compared with B-CC.
