Guest Ari_Hinkelberger
I can feel it. I just sense it.Only question will be what happens to C. Hill?He steps down a class and signs with South Florida after high school because he wants to play right away, but ends up getting beat out by another guy.Grothe will be the starter. This semster ends in May and C.Hill will take lot of snaps for few months before season opening. C. Hill's physical and skills have much advantage than Grothe. Mental tough do not show enough in practice. Of C, I believe PJ and CD will not have a chance to take their job.

He seems to be a decent athlete, just not a good QB. Has there been talk of trying him at WR, or some other position? If he could be used in some other capacity, what good is he doing riding the bench as the #2 or #3 QB in his senior year?

So, if he isn't going to start anyway, and he's fighting for a 2nd string gig, why not give him a shot to play elsewhere? So, it seems:1. PJ's not willing to move to another postion.2. Leavitt & company aren't willing to move him to another position.3. Leavitt & company just aren't very creative. After watching the predictible offense last season, I'd have to go with #3. Yeah, because they have never moved anyone to a different position. :

Why would you go into a season with no experience to speak of in quarterback ranks? Say what you will about P.J. but he does provide experience and will be needed in a backup role. Moving PJ would leave us with a freshman, and a soph who really never played much.

Also CJL told me at the signing day deal at the bull ring that there is only enough practice time to work two QB's in the fall so PJ wont be getting the reps if he is #3 on the DC
