Guest Ari_Hinkelberger
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!Graduation rates are so DUMB!> They prove nothing.1.) if you have a good program (something USF has never had) your graduation rate will be lower because a lot of your kids will not stay the full 4 years and graduate -- they will leave for the NBA2.) TRANSFERS DON"T COUNT! so the number is irrelevent to how strong you academic performance is.

Does he even follow USF bball?I think the better question would be do you even follow USF Basketball?Let's start from the beginning of Coach McCullum's tenure at USF.Year 1 - After cleaning house from the prior coaching staff we knew it would be a tough year and it was. 7 wins pretty much says it all.Year 2 - One of our best players is diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer right before the season starts. Coach McCullum doubles the win total from the prior season, beats 2 Top 25 teams in a weeks time and advances USF the furthest it has gone in the C-USA tournament. It can be easily argued that with a healthy #12 playing the full season that we would have easily been an NIT team.Year 3 - Season ending injury to starting PG before the season, in season injury to player taking place of injured PG, a player dismissal and the death of a player. Those aren't excuses. Those are FACTS. Even with a walk on PG playing in the toughest conference in the country we still manage to be in the majority of our Big East games. Only 2 teams in the Big East score 70 plus points on us (Seton Hall did it twice, once in OT) while we run a rotation of 6-7 guys a game tops.We expected to have a down year in year three. Granted, we didn't expect it to be this bad. We'll be in much better shape in 2006-2007.
