We reuse our helmets from year to year.  We can't afford to sell our game helmets for $150 and turn around and buy new ones for like $400 a pop every year.

We don't have the fans to buy these ... nothing to do with marketing. And as Eric pointed out, it's easy to come to the different fund raisers.

Yep, just like jerseys!

You sound like the manager at Home Depot when asked why they don't stock"Widgets" who replies " because we never sell them"!!!!

How do you know that "we don't have the fans to buy them"?  Have you or anyone else done a market survey recently?

OU has a massive athletic dept sale every two years at the Spring Game. Pretty much every football uniform, basketball warmup, whatever you want, at cutrate prices.
