We are practically ranked 53rd! I do not see the big deal in this really, besides the attention from it.  Its an awesome feeling as both college and MLB baseball approach!

Thats good, but why is Lamar getting more votes then us?  Where the blank is Lamar, and why would a school nobody has heard of and is probably the size of our lakeland campus getting more votes then the 13th largest university in the country?  Here's why, our AD settles for mediocrity in every sport.   There is no accountability or pressure to win.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

"He is a young and extremely gifted offensive mind, a developer of high-level talent and an elite national recruiter who brings the experience of having played an integral role from the beginning in helping to build one of the most successful programs in college football."
