USF Beating up St. Louis

We'll need a lot of fresh pitchers this coming week with games against Stetson and @East Carolina. Then UCF comes in the following week. It looks like both our pitching and hitting will be a tough combination to beat going into the meat of the seasson.

Urbanik is pitching the 2nd game of the DH. USF leads 2-1 after two innings. It's nice to know that Ellis is in the bull pen if needed.  ;D

SoftBulls lead in the second game of the double-header 8-2 after 5 innings.

Game 2 ends with the Bulls winning 8-2.

Their record improves to 41-7 (9-2 CUSA).

USF needs DePaul to lose a game this weekend, so they can regain their rightful place on top of C-USA. Louisville is still tied with USF for second place having won both ends of their DH with ECU.

DePaul split their Double header with Houston.  USF and Louisville are now tied for first place at 9-2. DePaul falls to 6-2.

Not really.

With a 17-run lead by USF, both team’s coaches decided to call the game after seven innings.

Sounds more like it's up to the coaches rather than a hard and fast rule.
