Who said he wouldn't play at Ole Miss?

He obviously was not sold on USF because he was looking at FSU and Ole Miss. He didn't want to be here and tehrefore I don't want him here.

NOT TRUE!

I wasn't recruited by any big boys (played juco ball and visted some D-II and D-III schools) but several guys on my team were. One had a full ride to Auburn and So. Miss, but decided to attend UCF because it was where he was comfortable being. He ended up playing a few games and now coaches HS in North Florida.

Honestly, winning is a MAJOR part of the decision, but the process has a lot of other quirks:

Facilities

Coaches

Family

Playing Time

Academic (to some)

etc.

If it were all about where you could win, the same team would be winning the national title every year. Comfort is the biggest selling point to a recruit, they want to go somewhere where they feel they can play and want to be.

Joe, I'm talking about PT and putting your name out there. These guys are nuts for not commiting to USF. Look at the history of guys that have gone else where...wait, they have no history, present or future in the game of football. They should come here, win games and make a name for themselves.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
