I find this odd.  **** a guy over and then put him in your Hall of Fame.  Did they ever apologize or at least mend the relationship?

Doesn't sound like it ....

Leach and Texas Tech never reconciled, with him mounting a legal campaign to recover $2.5 million he said the school owed him. The case is ongoing as part of a public records lawsuit to get the school to produce information.

... but maybe since this is an ongoing case, this may have been part of some sort of double secret negotiating to put it to bed?
