Soccer ⚽ Stadium Rental?

Could we make our Soccer stadium available to the Rowdies and/or the new Women's Soccer team?

 

Funds input? "Free" upgrades/expansion?

Funds then could be diverted to OCS.

I believe the Rowdies owner has a management agreement for Al Lang over there in St Pete.  So they probably are not an option currently.  Maybe the women's team though

The new Women's USL team will be playing in the fall starting in 2024 ... so finding dates that aren't used by USF's soccer teams might be tough.

WLAX is a spring sport that will use it starting the 2024-2025 season

The Rowdies experience seems baked into downtown St Pete vibes.  I wonder if that would to over well.

Especially for as long as they are owned by the St. Petersburg ... er ... Tampa Bay Rays.

I could envision a time in the future where the Rowdies move to Tampa, if the Rays move to Tampa .... but even then it isn't certain.

More likely the Rays move to Orlando, Nashville, Carolina, etc... and sell the Rowdies.  Then maybe the Rowdies might move across the Bay to be in a better position for MLS.
