Im gunna be in Charlotte from Thurs-Monday for the game. Does anyone know of any good bars or clubs in the city.  Also is there anywere to ski within driving distance?

Don't think there would be any "good" skying this close for the short time.

Not sure how far Beech/Sugar Mtn are from Charlotte but there is skiing there ............ but as ET alluded to, I wouldn't call it "good" either............. unless it's changed in the last 10 years or so.

Sugar, Beech, Appalachian, Hawksnest....all about 2 hrs from Charlotte and trust me, at that time of year the skiing is AWESOME

I grew up there, trust me!

Good bars on College Ave not far from all the sh** going on uptown/downtown, whatever they call it.  Real cool Irish bar called Ri-Ra I think.  The bar called the Graduate is pretty cool, and that is right across from the Omni Hotel.
