Come on now be fair. USF fans would of killed to have the early years showing progress at Tulane compared to 2-10 & 1-11 seasons. I followed Tulane and was impressed with what their coach was able to do in his first season

Stop comparing it to our current situation. We had fans wanting to run CWT off barely into his third year.

Done with this. Who cares. Tulane is happy they have him, we on the other hand are still hoping our new guy wins at least more than 4 in three years.

Regardless UTSA and Tulane will be favorites next year in AAC

Go thirteen years with one bowl trip and one seven win season and a guy that gets you to a bowl game in season three and then two more bowls next two years would get a longer stay.

We do not know if he would have done better here. Tulane is a lot tougher place to recruit and win than USF

Which is why I called it a rare situation in my initial response .....

How depressing that Tulane and UTSA are even being discussed as the class of OUR conference.  Thanks Judy

Not depressing to me. USF whenever they get their ass in gear will overcome most of these bozos

Exactly. Winning at USF should be easier than at any of the rest of the new AAC, if the administration goes all into winning as it seems we have finally done

I still don't believe they have gone all in on winning. Feels like their hand has been forced by UCF.

I will change my opinion after I see what they do once the stadium is built.

True. But in all the years USF has been around,Athletics has been an afterthought. Starting from its beginning without athletics, to reluctantly making a PE teacher the AD and not even have an NCAA approved basketball gym on campus. This is the first time ever that USF’s President, BOT and Athletics are all on board. The IPF, the OCS, the fact that our salaries for football HC and assistants are among the top in AAC. USF has never been in a conference where facilities plus salaries where among the top and that includes lower conferences such as SunBelt, METRO and CUSA.

So that’s a start and a position that never existed in USF’s history

I like that. Tbh I know the OCS is in the works but I am curious to see if we are gonna have a OCS like Houston or a BS OCS OCS like UCiF. A nice OCS pretty much tells us we are ACC bound. A BS OCS tells us we are happy to be in AAC.
