When is enough enough?  Came back after getting a NIL deal.

What a farce.

Kudos! Making money and has at least two free college degrees by this point. Avoid the real world for another year while getting to play a game. Smart kid. Milk it for all you can.

He’s giving them a far above average QB. Not a fair exchange?

You're a public employee, right?

I don't really care if he is above average.  College shouldn't be 7 years and play for pay.  It's ridiculous.  You can argue all you want.

College football shouldn't be a lot of things. But, he's done everything his school has asked of him. He hasn't transferred. He's produced consistently. Do you think he should have "retired" to let someone else play? Said no to the scholarship? No to the NIL?

Yes, I think college should have an end time.  It is not employment, although it is beginning to head in that direction for some.

"Milking" any public institution "for all you can" is a moral shortcoming.

Milking teenage athletes for hundreds of millions of dollars isn't really a better look.

He's not hurting anyone. He gets to play one more year off football before the sport tells him he's done. He gets to keep having fun and being a kid and UTSA makes a bunch of money off of him.

If I could have played a year or two more and paid off some more school, I'd have done it in a heartbeat. I knew I wasn't going anywhere, but it still sucked to just wake up one morning and realize you're never throwing a baseball again that matters.

Predictable.  No one is making anyone play football.  Did you not get a quality dump in today? :roflmao:
