I know the facts Pariah, I just am sharing how i am recovering from the loss.  I happen to be a positive guy most of the time and i truely believe we are going to the Mienke Bowl in Charlote.  I can even say I am getting excited about it.  Checking airline prices, etc.  Oh and our destiny is still in our hands.  We can beat WV and that will lock us into a bowl game.

you'r eright, that is one small consolation because i really don't believe uconn will beat lville, even without Brohm.  I just didn't want to back into a bowl game for our first one.  I wantd to go in with our chests pumped out and heads held high.  

This reminds me of the 2002 basketball season all over again.  We started 7-0, only to crumble and finish like 17-10 on a 3 game losing streak.  Needless to say the NCAA committee turned their noses up at us, we went to the NIT with our heads down, and got blasted in the first round.  If we do go to Meineke, we better freaking win it.  No ifs ands or buts (if we do play Clemson  it might as well be a road game and, for all intents and purposes, we suck on the road.)

I did too, up until last Saturday that is. :-/

Granted that 2002 team had no backbone and terrible leadership.  I'll take CJL over...that other MB coach any day of the week.

I'm treating that game like an aberration. The coaches' minds freaking froze up on that goal line series. You know **** well immediately after the Denson sack, they were saying "Why in the HELL didn't we just give it to Andre a couple of times??" ....
