Why does USF deserve a Bowl..anybody??

Really?  Well, maybe that's true, we lucked into being bowl eligible.  So what?  We are and that's pretty darn great for a young team!  How long did it take UF,FSU, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, South Carolina.....do I really need to go on??

6 wins makes you bowl eligible, and it is likely we will be one of 4 teams in a conference with 4 bids.  Is that a good enough answer?

USF does not travel. Mark my words. USF fans will not show up. The AD will have to buy up the tix and hope they can re-market them to us "fans". It may cost USF to go bowling at this time in our young life as a D1a program.

Let's assume that almost half the teams in IA wind up - "bowl eligible".

By playing above average ball in the weakest BCS conference , we are eligible and as such, "deserve" a bowl game.

Now...if you'd like to start a thread on the merits or demerits of having too f*ing many bowl games to begin with, well...that would be another thread.

Or if you'd prefer, we could start a thread on whether or not the NBE should be a part of the BCS.
