Yeah, I was kinda sad when Andre didn't get the chance to run up the score like he said he wanted to at the end of the game.....

I'm all for playing the classy route though.

It's just that the BCS is not only not classy, it's downright stupid. 4 Big East coaches better be casting 4 votes for USF in the AP poll or I'm gonna puke.

Not as badly as if UCF has more votes though. Then I'll puke an intestine or something.

It makes plenty of sense.  A large part of the game is mental.  Regardless of what some might say, a win is not a win-especially under the current bcs system.  A dominant win (28 plus) against a mediocre team at UCONN will give us an edge/lift mentally that should carry over to the following sat. against WV.  If we barely pull out a victory against UCONN the opposite effect might occur against WV.  It may sound bogus, but that's just the way it is.  Does any of that make sense to you?

By your rationale, we should have beaten Pitt easily since we beat Louisville.

It doesn't work that way.  I agree it's about attitude, but it's also about matchups.  That's why the Bucs can play so well against Atlanta (the Bucs own the Falcons) and play so crappy against the Saints (who often lost to Atlanta).

So no, it still doesn't make sense.

I would puke up a kidney, but I woke up in a Brasilian hotel bath tub filled with ice and a note . . .

We have too many unrealistic fans that either know nothing about college football or are just plain demanding too much out of a program less than a decade old.

You can't have a pretty win every week.  It's just the way football is...Let's not forget that even in the Bucs Superbowl season there were some games where the offense couldn't even score a single touchdown (thank God for Martin Gramatica that year!) but hey, they won a Superbowl!

Yes we played great against Louisville.  To me, the UCF game was also great football as we had only five penalties and completely controlled the line of scrimmage.  Unfortunately,  getting 19 penalties against WVU would make it extremely difficult getting us to the Sugar Bowl.
