A friend of mine that lives in Atlanta called me this morning asking if USF had a shot at the Sugar Bowl (Hell Yes!!!) Obviously, there was a lot derogatory comments about the Big East and USF. We're in the BE (perceived as a weak conference) and have 3. Combined with our loss to Pitt? THat's a recipe to be smacked by the talk show hosts. Had we beaten Pitt I'd say we have a legit gripe. They should, however be smacking FSU as well. They're no better than us.

It may or may not be a "good" win, but it's certainly a quality one. I think everybody can agree though that the loss to Pitt is costing us big time in the credibility department right now.
