Is that accurate?  i think Jim posted that the only way Pitt gets the bid is if there is a 3 way tie and Pitt was ranked better than USF, and if neither team was ranked, then Pitt would get it based on the head to head.

If there is a 3 way tie, the mini-conference that is built would have WVU eliminated since they would have lost to both WVU and USF

Could Pitt be better ranked than us with a 6-5 record? if we were 7-4...

I don't think it is a lock that Pitt would get the bid.

It is accurate, Velcro, but unlikely.

If there is a 3-way tie, then Pitt goes.  Pitt would be 2-0, USF would be 1-1, and WVU would be 0-2 in the 'miniconference' of the three tied teams.

However, as you noted, that would require Louisville to lose... they play Syracuse on 11/26 and at Connecticut on 12/3.  U Conn could be looking for a statement game in the last game of the season... But the chances are L'ville will be 9-2 and heading to the Gator Bowl against Boston College.

I think they are correct that the USF-WVU winner goes to the Sugar and the loser to the Meineke...

In order for USF to get it in a 4-way tie, USF would have to be ranked higher than Pittsburgh... otherwise Pitt goes because they win the head to head.

Nothing wrong with the U.  Any good sports bar will have it.  You guys that hate it, irritate me.  At least its on TV.  The three words I hate are, "Game Not Televised".  When you see those three words you're screwed as a USF fan.  At least the U can be found nationwide.

they need to figure something out.  if it is gonna be moved to a different night then an annoucement should be made WELL in advance.  i can handle not knowing the game time until a week before but if its going to be moved to a completely different day then plans need to be changed
