If we go to a good bowl game -- they better pay CJL whatever it takes.  They have been shortchanging his ass for 9 years now.  He is one of the lowest paide coaches in the country.  They need to boast his salary to the 2 million range with Bowden and  Meyer.  The worst thing that could happen would be to lose him as a coach.  People are going to start showing up offering big time cash and big time perks.  Genshaft and company better DO WHATEVER IT TAKES>  GIve him the presidents house-- give him the millions we win.  JUST KEEP HIM!  HE IS ALL WE HAVE!~

We dont have 2 Million dollars...any raise would be good...but the ones that need raises are our assistant coaches...and certainly some of our other respected sports such as Mens Soccer need to make more than 30K a year...but the only way this happens is DONATIONS!!!

Leavitt doesn't deserve Bowden money YET.  He does deserve a raise though.  If we go to the Sugar, he deserves a BIG raise.

If we win the Big East and go to the sugar bowl, he deserves a raise.  No way he deserves the money of Bobby Bowden, who has won multiple national titles and been in the conference hunt EVERY YEAR (even this year haha).  Urban Meyer is overpaid himself.  Ron Zook probably could have gone 7-3, too.  UF hopes Meyer can take a step forward next year.

BCS bowl money might help salaries a bit?  I DISAGREE on paying assistant coaches more as a whole, other than Carl Franks, our OLine coach, maybe our defensive coach, etc.  Pay them if they perform.  Aka, Screw Rod Smith.

they just gave Genshaft a raise this past week - i think it was a $32k increase.  she's now around $360k.  CJL i think is around $450k or something.

If my memory serves me correctly state employees can only make so much (Not sure of the dollar amount). For example, last time I read when Bobby got his raise most of the money was from Seminole Boosters and the Nike contract. Same with Meyer's. Most of the money comes from "outside" organizations, not from the school itself. With that being said, CJL does desverve a raise.
