UM is ranked #3... but neither UF nor FSU has done much for 3 or 4 years now.. neither really deserves to be mentioned amongst the national elite teams.. for that matter UF is middle of the road in the SEC now.

Yes,

there is a big three, they might not have the best records (Zook is to blame for UF, age for Bobby) but spending, recruiting classes and Bowls are always going to roll the dice on the big three.

No I'm stating Zook brought the program down Smazza, not that he is the cause of the loss yesterday. The year before Zook got there Florida was number 3 in the country returning most starters...

that is complete BS, zook was a GREAT recruiter, the talent is there, he could not coach himself out of a paperbag.

so now they have the great coach URBANATOR who goes to SC, (who was out-talented, out-spent, out-boostered), and on gameday the ole ball coach, out coached the young whipper snapper.

Bulls96....I disagree one of the main jobs of a college coach is to TEACH the players how to play the game. You can give anyone great recruiting class after great recruiting class and not be a good program.

Zook did a bad job of developing those players. Now on Saturday Meyer was outcoached, I watched the games with some friends at a bar staurday, and although i didn't see much Spurrier was able to make the plays that Gators couldn't.

In the immortal words or Vince Lombardi, "Winning is a habit, you have to learn how to win, before you do so."

I wouldn't count out any of the Big 3 until they cannot pull in recruiting classes and don't have the funds comming in. Remember FSU and UF are two of the largest booster backed sports programs in the country.
