And it was cause of Pittsburgh that it drew no one.

It was because of both teams.  There was no "marque" progrm in the game.  If we were to play Alabama, they would obviously be the draw.

Anyone think about some bigger name schools coming after CJL again if our Bulls do run the table including Sugar?  Clemson, Mizzou, & Arkansas are a possibility w/TN being a long shot possibility.

Buyout or not, O'Leary may be the coach a BCS team will be going after.  Motivated, deep-pocketed boosters will gladly buy out any contract if they feel that the candidate will make them a winner.

CJL is already at a BCS team and has incentives in his contract that will pay him nicely were he to make it to a bowl and/or be conference champ.  That said, you may see a contract reworked (again) if we make it to the Sugar Bowl.

I think CJL will be a strong and early candidate for the Missouri job.

Being the cream of the Big East...I can think of worst positions to be in. Even IF the conference loses its BCS affiliation (which won't happen, imo) USF will reap benefits in the long run.

As with any disaster, afterwards those involved tend to emerge from it smarter, stronger. The same applys to the BE. When  USF and 2-3 other teams from the BE go to bowls, and win those bowls, there is reason for those 3-4 teams from the BE to be ranked in the top 25 at the start of next season. Good enough reason to start this year off as a disaster to me..

GOOOO BULLS!!!
