the BE may not lose the auto bid but we may have to share it,

like we have had to "share" some of our bowls.

also ND would not want the BE out of  the BCS and what ND wants ND gets!

ND's deal with the BCS is seperate from the Big East.  The BCS is controlled by the Big Ten, not Notre Dame.  If the Big Ten leave, it's back to the old alliance because the Pac 10 and Rose Bowl follow them.
