I agree SCBullsfan, we need to play this game tough and at least be competetive like we were at Penn State.  If we can do this and even if we do lose and end up 3-2 we can still be ranked in a few weeks if we continue to win after the UM game.

I think a win is needed also.

With a win, everyone says "whoa whoa whoa, hang on. Who IS this USF team?! Let's go run a story on them!"

With a close loss, everyone says "...look, another TCU."

With a blowout loss, everyone says "Louisville was obviously looking ahead..."

If we were close to the national spectrum before the Louisville game, then yes, all we would need was a good showing in Miami. But we werent. We were the equivalent of a Vanderbilt or Wyoming in the nation's eyes.
