We need to prove that this win wasn't a fluke.  So long as we are competitive versus Miami, and keep up the momentum in our conference games, we'll get some votes along the way.

New Mexico got a vote because they ALMOST beat UTEP...only lost by 8!   And UTEP is supposed to be the toast of C-USA along with UCF.  What a joke these polls can be.

The fact that Iowa, boise state, tcu, and new mexico receive votes and we do not is hard to believe.

Of those teams, all have losses, iowa and boise have 2.  Boise has not beaten ANY ranked teams this year, and TCU has a loss to a much worse opponent than the one that beat us.  Their ranked win can not really be argued better than ours by any means.

New mexico getting votes based on a quality loss?  My !@#$%.

To be honest, I'm glad we didn't get any votes.  This will help get our team fired up for next week.  The feeling of being overlooked in the face of an overwhelming defeat of a top ten team will provide more fuel for our guys.  Let's go into the game feeling like David versus Goliath.

All we need to do is win baby... Two more wins and we're there.

Most people think the BE is crap, so a win in the conf is not going to help us much.

A win at Miami.... that's a WHOLE different thing.
