W. Virginia barely beat E. Carolina.  I don't think they deserve a #1 rating.  I've already heard t.v commentators remarking about how weak the Big East is with USF beating Louisville.  If Louisville was the favorite before tonight, why not USF now?

These are the standings based on W-L in conference play.  Nothing to do with "rankings" as you are thinking.

WVU is 4-0 if I remember correctly.  Since we're both 1-0 in BE pay, their 4-0 overall beats our 3-1 overall.  That is why they're on top.

We're still "new" to most of the uninformed press.  They won't respect us until we do this consistantly.

The BIG EAST is now wide open to just about all the teams IMO. UL was that sure lock to just about everyone to win the conference. Now, USF jumps into the picture of this race. It is a big advantage to have WVU at home on homecoming. I expect that game to be a record crowd.
