Here are the games for the conference:

Cinn vs EMU  (we need to win these games against 2nd tier teams)

Conn vs. Buffalo (must win for conference)

LVille vs. Kentucky (must win, blow out would be nice)

Pitt vs. N.Dame (This would be a huge win!)

Rutgers vs. Ill (big east vs. big ten... Huge upset if we get it)

USF vs psu (wow this would make a HUGE statement!)

WVU vs. syracuse (someone has to win)

As Big East members we need to support other teams, I will be watching scoreboard and pulling for big east to get respect!  (4-3 would be good, 5-2 great, 6-1 people would take notice, wow, 7-0 POWERHOUSE conference!)

You're right, they're all big.  You certainly don't want to lose to EMU or Buffalo.  Wins in the four OOC games against other BCS schools would be huge for the conference.

I think Louisville over Kentucky is a pretty sure thing.  Pitt can definately beat Notre Dame.  Rutgers and Illinois I see as a toss up.  Us and Penn State?  No matter how Penn State has been in the past years, this would be a huge upset.

7-0 is impossible since two BE teams are playing each other.  Throw that game out of the equation and you have:

3-3 would be good, 4-2 great, 5-1 people would take notice, wow, 6-0 POWERHOUSE conference

4-2 should be the goal.

4-2 should be the goal.

I would agree that 4-2 would be a good goal...

3 wins are almost certain:

U Conn over Buffalo (the only Bulls they'll beat this year!!)

Cincy over EMU (not as much of a given as we would like, but the Bearcats are at home)

Louisville over KY (yawn... over by half time)

The last win has to come from:

Pitt over Notre Date (very doable, it is at Pittsburgh)

Rutgers over Illinois (possible, UI was only 3-8 last year beating FAMU, WMU, and Indiana -- can the Knighs win in Champaign? )

USF over Penn State (possible, but that Penn State defense is gonna be TOUGH -- can USF pull off a near perfect game? )

4-2 probably means that Pitt beat Notre Dame...

5-1 - Omni's right that people would take notice - probably means USF beat Penn State or Rutgers beat Illinois (both are road games)

at 6-0 people may ask "What is wrong with the Big Ten? USF over PSU and Rutgers over Illinois..."
