It will save about $35,000 not flying and will be only the second road game USF bused to (Georgia Southern, 1998). ... With the home opener still a month away, USF has sold about 15,000 season tickets, roughly the same amount sold last season.Did anyone else know about this possiblity?  We were still in the dark about the time, I thought, but now maybe it is getting closer to being set. We might be able to make it look a lot better if they can really get the student appeal out. Why you have to pursue the students vs. the students pursuing the game is beyond me, but that does seem to be the case.

The number that really should shock everybody isn't the 15,000 number... it's the fact that those 15,000 are purchased by less than 3,500 people. That's the shame... less than 3,500 season ticket "holders" in the bay area. Now, some of these 3,500 are groups that buy tickets through one person... but the number is still the same Moreover, obviously not everyone who donates buys all 8 of their tickets...
