How does the USA come in 5th?  That is pathetic.  

Isn't the World University Games going on at the same time?  We may have a split squad or this could have been the B team.  Also don't forget that there are some rule changes between the US game and the international game.

USA only lost one game the entire tourney, but it fell at the wrong time to knock them out of medal contention.

They had a lot more talent across the board than any other team, if you go back and read this thread.

They had a lot of Big East Basketball players.

The Lithuanians had ONE. Captain Marius P!

I know Marius got into very early foul trouble in the finals because of tough defense and didn't produce, but he had some GREAT games leading up to it, especially from behind the arc.

The experience HE gained will be invaluable heading into the Big East.
