Home town kid finishing up his last year with the Bulls?

Could really use a 6'2" 235 lb Mike linebacker next year even if it's a one and done.

"I am considering any program where I can come right in and be that impact linebacker, win football games, and be supported by a coaching staff who believes in me and has my back," Watson said in a direct message Monday evening. "In doing so I'll be able to contribute to a team competing for championships.

If USF fits the bill, then they will be certainly be considered. I know the caliber of season they just had and I have the utmost respect for Coach (Charlie) Strong and their staff."

And he would get to go back for one weekend and play against his boys. 

How cool would that be as a grad transfer.

I remember him being a fierce linebacker at Tampa Catholic. He would be a huge pick-up if he decided to come to USF. Good information.

Plus, he would count as an early enrollee and be able to participate in spring practice.

Wouldn’t be surprised at all if @USFFootball got Tre Watson. He’s loved in Tampa & his return to USF (As an Illini) this season was very well documented. If I had a crystal ball pick, I would be picking USF. This would definitely help the transition of losing Auggie‼️🤘🏽🐂🐂
