PS. State College on Friday afternoon (main drag..think its College Ave) just comes alive with tons of people, shopping, drinking, eating, etc...

It's worth the $$$ to stay in State College...one of the best College Towns in USA.

We got our tickets the other day.  So, my wife and I are going to drive up Friday and spend Fri/Sat night up there.  I'll be interested in the tailgating aspect of this trip, as well.  We're really looking forward to spending the day up there.  We got a room at the Holiday Inn at State College.  MUCH cheaper than the Hilton Garden Inn, but she found it on the Penn State web site, so we may run into a lot of Penn Staters there.  Should be fun anyway...
