Membership taking off

Our mythical STEERing committee had hoped we'd attain 1500 registered members by kickoff.  We have 38 to go in 50 days.  

What are the odds we hit 1500 before kickoff at PSU?  Granted, guests can post as such, so memberships are not required to participate in TheBullsPen.com.  

However, there are a variety of features that come into play for members, and of course participation in the football prediction contests (and eligibility for prizes) is a privelege of membership.

I am going to venture out and say we hit 1500 before kickoff and we do on September 1, 2005.

Would love to see a ranking of everyone in the order they joined the board, just to see the seniority levels ...

I think they already have that... You can also put it by how many posts one has...

When the board crashed last year, a lot of the data was corrupted and therefore, we can not include the "order of joining" in member's profiles.  I once tried to repair those files, but it would take a long time.

Here are the first 30 members to join, beginning in mid 2000.  As you may know, we had a couple of different board packages beginning in 1999 that have since been washed away.  This lists the order in which people joined this board when it was being eased into use.

We'll definetly hit 1500.  Many PSU'ers will join in the week leading up to our first game.  If our first game were at home I'd say many more because they'd want to get hotel/tourist info.

I'd be interested in seeing how many are still posting, to say you have 1500 members is one thing, to say you have 1500 active members is somethig else.  

Of course you have guests that never register and post more than some members so I guess it all equals out.  

I've been posting on here since I think the 2002 season and have yet to reach a thousand posts.  All relative I guess
